The recent rapid increase in the capabilities of AI has many people nervous, most of all parents. With the unknown impact these technological advances will have on future generations, there is a healthy caution. But some moms are learning to use the technology for their benefit.

Kate Anderson, Chief of Staff at Motherly and mother of three, shares how Chat GPT, an AI tool that can answer questions and assist with tasks, is a lifesaver in decreasing the mental load of motherhood. She uses the tool to save time for both personal and work-related tasks, including meal planning, generating the weekly grocery list, creating arg-appropriate kids chore lists, planning out birthday parties and lacrosse drills, and planning a summer vacation to Spain.

Kate estimates that using ChatGPT saves her 5-10 hours of work each week. She now uses it an hour a day as a personal assistant to eliminate some of the busy work that goes into meal planning, activity planning, and managing household tasks.
